Why usage still matters on a paid plan
Paid plans include unlimited code completions and next-edit suggestions, while chat and agent capabilities follow usage rules. AI Credits are not a fixed number of questions; model choice, task complexity and execution can change consumption.
Compare your actual work first. If completions meet your needs, a larger credit number alone may not justify upgrading. If agent work repeatedly hits limits, inspect usage and budget. Confirm any paid overage settings rather than assuming a notification is a hard spending cap.
Check student and organization access first
If your organization already provides Copilot or you may qualify for student access, inspect your GitHub account before purchasing an individual plan. Organization seats are managed access, not multiple people sharing one personal password.
Calculate the actual checkout currency, taxes and extra usage. An RMB conversion is only a budgeting aid. Subly currently has no Copilot product, so this page directs purchases to GitHub without inventing an RMB service quote.
Common questions
Does Pro include unlimited chat?
No. Unlimited code completions do not mean unlimited chat and agent usage.
